These illustrations are part of my ongoing exploration of characters from Cube World, an imagined universe I’ve developed over time.
Most of these figures began as pencil sketches during my daily commutes on the Tokyo rail system when I taught English in Japan, later refined and inked digitally using a workflow that closely mirrors traditional Silver Age comic book inking techniques.
